The latin word "compater" becomes "compadre" in spanish. Someone's compadre is the godfather of the son of that man. It demonstrates the friendship between two men through the compromise commited to the son of one of them. In some latin america countries there still exists a Day of the Godson, usually on the 29th of June, during which the godfathers and godmothers gather and bring presents, seeking to strengthen the bond. The word extended beyond this kind of bond is applied to men who know each other well and who foster a friendship and mutual support. Our restaurant has been created by three compadres who will let you taste what real mexican gastronomy is.
